Annual Strategy Refresh
Why: Having a strategic plan is only the first step to success. You also need accountable execution of that plan. Regular progress reviews allow you to stay on course or adjust as needed.
How: A typical strategy sets direction for multiple years, so your leadership team meets once a year to review and refresh your overall strategy and execution plan. You review results so far against expectations; reconsider your strategic decisions and the plan, in case the situation is sufficiently different that a course change is required. You define a focus for the year, taking the next step to execute your strategy.
