Shaun Mahoney (CFA)Founder and CEOShaun has held management and executive roles at private and public companies such as the Chase Manhattan Bank, Equifax, and Housecall Medical Resources. He is a graduate of Fordham University.Shaun accepted the role as Chairman of Albany, New York-based company NextRidge after a 10-year tenure as its CEO. It was during this period that Shaun began working with CEOs and Executive teams while developing the extensive curriculum, tools and templates that are the foundation of the MPI’s Performance Programs.
Mr. Mahoney is a board member for the Center of Economic Growth and a member of the Albany 50 Group. Shaun formerly served as a board member of the Industrial Advisory Board for Rensselaer’s Center for Automation Technologies and Systems, the Albany Medical Center Foundation committee and the Chairman of the Dean’s Advisory Council for the Siena College School of Business.

Bruce ParsonsPrincipalPreviously VP at Blue State Solutions and EXL Service working with Medicare Administration Contractors. Passion for helping people and organizations achieve extraordinary performance.Bruce is a Distinguished Military Graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a degree in Civil Engineering. He served for over four years as a Combat Engineer Officer in the US Army immediately upon graduation from college. He has served as a board member and President of the Tri-County United Way and coached youth athletics for many years in baseball, softball, soccer, basketball and lacrosse.Read More -
Rachel BreidsterPrincipal ConsultantIn her 20+ years of experience in the field of learning and organizational development, Rachel has worked as a trainer, facilitator, curriculum developer, program designer, panelist, public speaker, moderator, coach, project manager and ultimately as an Assistant Director, Director, and Vice President of Learning and Development Departments.She has done this work in the private sector with companies ranging from large, international Fortune 500 companies, to small start-ups with as few as 10 employees; with grant-funded nonprofits and those that rely entirely on fundraising; and with local, state, and federal government. ​

Rachel BahorCommunity ManagerRachel Bahor manages Mahoney Performance Institute’s marketing efforts. As Community Manger, she oversees and manages all digital channels, content strategy, events and the engagement of program alumni.Rachel works closely with the MPI team to develop and implement digital strategies to improve users’ online experiences. She provides strategic direction for digital marketing campaigns and expertise on brand management.
Rachel’s background in B2B marketing has prepared her for the demands of developing and implementing successful strategies to acquire and retain clients. She holds a degree in Communications from The College of Saint Rose.Read More -
Jim ScottProduct DevelopmentJim Scott leads Product Development for Mahoney Performance Institute. He has many years of experience leading and managing product development teams in companies ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to small-and medium-sized companies to large multinationals.Through his combination of practical experience and academic studies, Jim has built an expertise in teamwork, management, and leadership.
Jim has lectured in management as an adjunct professor at Siena College, in managing software quality and product development at Union Graduate College, and coached MBA students at Union Graduate College as they developed business plans for local businesses in the MBA Capstone course. He holds degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Iowa State University and an M.B.A. from Union Graduate College.
